I’ve tried Galerie au Chocolat products from Costco during the Christmas season before and really enjoyed them, so when I spotted this Berrylicious Bliss mix of yogurt-covered blueberries, cherries, and cranberries from the same brand, I was eager to give it a try. I liked that it contains real whole fruit, especially cherries, which aren’t commonly found in snacks like this. Would I buy it again? Read the review below to find out!

Location in Store
The Galerie Au Chocolate Berrylicious Bliss is located in the snack section of Costco, near the Kirkland Signature Dark Chocolate Covered Mangoes and the Welch’s Fruit Snacks. The item number is 1988789.

Taste
I tried all the different kinds of fruit in the bag. The cherries are pretty good, with a nice balance of sweetness from the fruit and a bit of tanginess from the yogurt coating. The combination of creamy yogurt and sweet cherries works really well together. They’re not super soft, but they’re not hard or chewy either. There’s even the slightest hint of artificial cherry flavor.

The blueberries are also tasty, offering a similar mix of sweetness and creaminess as the cherries, but with a bit more tartness.
The cranberries are slightly less sweet and a little more tart, and that tartness pairs nicely with the yogurt coating. If I did a blind taste test, I’m not 100% sure I’d be able to identify each fruit, but the mix is delicious and all the flavors complement one another well. It’s a unique combination and definitely addictive!

Cost
The 400-gram bag costs $12.99 Canadian, which I think is quite reasonable considering it’s made with real whole fruit and even includes cherries, which tend to be more expensive than many other dried fruits.
Convenience
The bag is resealable, which makes storage easy and helps keep the yogurt-covered dried fruit fresh. I recommend storing it in a cool, dry place. It’s great as a sweet snack on its own, or you can use it to make homemade trail mix.

Nutrition
Calories
Six pieces of yogurt-covered dried fruit contain 100 calories, four grams of fat, 16 grams of carbohydrates, zero grams of fibre, 14 grams of sugar, one gram of protein, and 10 milligrams of sodium. I find the nutrition facts a bit ambiguous because there’s quite a significant difference in size between the yogurt-covered cherries and the yogurt-covered blueberries and cranberries.

Ingredients
Just because these are yogurt-covered, dried whole fruits doesn’t mean they’re healthy. There are still several less desirable ingredients on the list, including palm kernel oil, sugar, sunflower oil, and shellac. The Berrylicious Bliss contains milk and soy and may also contain peanuts, tree nuts, and sulphites.
