I’ve bought several varieties of Crunchmaster crackers from Costco and like that they’re gluten-free and made with oils I prefer, such as olive oil. When I spotted these new Crunchmaster Tzatziki Chickpea Crisps at Costco, I was excited to give them a try since I love tzatziki. But did these Costco chickpea crisps live up to my expectations? Find out whether I enjoyed the tzatziki flavor enough to buy them again or ended up regretting my purchase in my review below!

Location in Store
These are not located in the snack section at the front of the store but in cracker/cereal aisle at Costco. The item number is 9963654. Other crunchmaster products I’ve reviewed are the Crunchmaster Queso Crackers, Crunchmaster Multi-Grain Crackers, Crunchmaster Avocado Toast Salt & Pepper Crackers and the Crunchmaster Sour Cream & Herb Crackers.
Taste
I can’t say these Crunchmaster Tzatziki Chickpea Crisps are my favorite from the brand. They’re just okay in my opinion, not bad, but not amazing either. They have a mild tzatziki flavor with a noticeable garlic taste, although I was surprised that I didn’t enjoy them more since I love tzatziki.

I do like the texture, as they’re nice and crunchy without crumbling or making a big mess when you bite into them. Despite being called chickpea crisps, I found they tasted more like rice crackers and didn’t notice much of a chickpea flavor.
Cost
The 454-gram bag of Crunchmaster Tzatziki Chickpea Crisps costs $13.99 Canadian, which doesn’t seem overly expensive, although these definitely aren’t the cheapest crackers you can buy. I think you’re paying a bit of a premium because they’re made with olive oil and marketed as gluten-free.

Convenience
These are flavorful enough to enjoy on their own without a dip, but I think they’d pair nicely with tzatziki or a simple onion dip. The bag is resealable, which helps keep the crisps fresh, and the best-before date is about seven months from the date I purchased them. Crunchmaster makes a great selection of crackers and crisps, especially if you’re following a gluten-free diet.

Nutrition
Calories
A serving of 26 crisps contains 130 calories, two grams of fat, 24 grams of carbohydrates, one gram of fibre, two grams of sugar, three grams of protein and 105 milligrams of sodium. That’s not a lot of calories, fat or sodium for 26 crisps, making these a pretty reasonable snack option.

Ingredients
The ingredients list isn’t very long, and instead of wheat flour, these crisps are made with rice flour and chickpea flour. I also really like that they’re made with extra virgin olive oil and olive oil rather than less desirable oils. The crisps contain milk and sesame but are gluten-free and soy-free.

Walk on by!
I think there are much better crisps and crackers from Crunchmaster, like their Multi-Grain Crisps. For some reason, I just didn’t love the tzatziki seasoning on these. They’re crunchy and perfectly edible, but the flavor didn’t impress me enough to make me want to buy them again.
$13.99 Canadian.
These are gluten-free but not dairy-free.
You could serve them with tzatziki or an onion dip!
