Costco Cooper Street Snacks Twice Baked Cookies Review

These Cooper Street Snacks Twice Baked Cookies look just like mini biscotti—and they taste like them too! They’re packed with real Michigan cherries, dried cranberries, and dairy-free white chips. While I usually gravitate toward cookies or biscotti with chocolate, I was curious to see how these would taste. Find out what I thought below!

Location in Store

I found these cookies in the bakery section, not the snack section! They were beside the Lotus Biscoff Cookies, Bobo’s Oat Bites and Aussie Bites. The item number is 1702124.

Taste

As soon as I opened the bag, I immediately thought these cookies look exactly like biscotti. They also taste pretty much like a mini biscotti! They’re quite hard and crisp but soften in your mouth. They’re sweet with a shortbread-like flavor.

The cookies are a bit crumbly and there’s definitely some crumbs in the bottom of the bag. The flavor of the cookies is noticeably fruity especially if you get a bite with a dried cranberry or cherry.

There’s also cherry concentrate in the cookies which gives an overall cherry flavor throughout the cookies. The white chips throughout the cookies don’t have a ton of flavor but add a bit of additional sweetness.

Cost

The 567-gram bag costs $9.99 Canadian which seems really reasonable to me. There are quite a few cookies in the bag!

Convenience

The bag reseals which helps keep the cookies fresh and the best before date is about 11 months from when we purchased the cookies. These are great with a coffee or tea for a small mid-morning or mid-afternoon snack. They’re also a great light dessert! They’re tree-nut free so they are school safe, but I think a lot of kids might find them unappealing due to how hard they are.

Nutrition

Calories

There are 110 calories, four grams of fat, 18 grams of carbohydrates, zero grams of fibre, 10 grams of sugar, two grams of protein and 15 milligrams of sodium in four cookies. That’s not bad for four cookies! They’re small but I think that’s more than enough to satisfy a sweet craving.

Ingredients

The ingredients list is pretty typical for a store-bought cookie. The cookies contain egg, wheat and barley and may contain tree nuts, milk and soy. I don’t love that there’s canola oil instead of butter and palm oil in the white chips, but the rest of the ingredients are fine.

Convenience: 10/10

Nutrition: 3/10 (The ingredients list is short and they’re not totally loaded with sugar).

Overall
