If you love pretzels, you’ll definitely want to try these Costco Snack Factory Pretzel Crisps! They’ve got the classic crisp, crunchy texture and salty flavor everyone loves. They’re wider and flatter which makes them perfect for dipping, topping, or just snacking straight out of the bag.
Location in Store
The Pretzel Crisps are located on te of the store near the other chips, such as the Kirkland Signature Corn Chip Dippers and the Kirkland Signature Krinkle Cut Himalayan Salt Potato Chips. The item number is 262313.
Taste
If you like pretzels, you’re sure to enjoy Pretzel Crisps. They’re basically flat, wide pretzels that are crispy, crunchy, and perfectly salty, not overly salty, just right. Because they’re wide and flat, they’re great for dipping or topping with your favorite cheese or cold cuts.
On the downside, they can be a bit dry and somewhat bland, though that’s typical for plain pretzels unless they’re flavored. Snack Factory also makes flavored versions, like their White Chocolate Peppermint Pretzels.
Cost
The 737-gram bag costs $8.49 Canadian, which I think is reasonable but not cheap. A 200-gram bag of the same Snack Factory Pretzel Crisps costs $5.50 at my local grocery store, and it’s less than one-third the size.
Convenience
Kids seem to love these, probably because they’re crunchy, salty, and mild in flavor! The bag is resealable, which helps keep the pretzels fresh, and the best-before date is about 11 months from when I purchased it.
The bag suggests serving the Pretzel Crisps with hummus, vegetables, or burrata and tomato. I think they’d also be delicious with cold cuts and cheese, salsa, or even a chip dip! Since they’re a bit light on flavor, I’d definitely pair them with something to give them a boost.
Nutrition
Calories
Eleven Pretzel Crisps contain 110 calories, zero grams of fat, 25 grams of carbohydrates, one gram of fibre, two grams of sugar, three grams of protein, and 290 milligrams of sodium. They’re low in calories and fat, the sodium content isn’t particularly high, and I like that each serving provides three grams of protein.
Ingredients
I wouldn’t say the Pretzel Crisps are healthy. The second ingredient is sugar, and they also contain vegetable oil. They’re soy- and dairy-free but contain both wheat and barley.
