Location in Store

This is located in the snack section of Costco at the front of the store, near the Kirkland Signature Grass Fed Beef Sticks and the RXBAR Energy Bars. The item number is 1909548.

Taste

The casing on the Bellitalia Salami Snacksticks is a little tough, but it doesn’t ruin the experience. It does make the salami sticks quite chewy, though. Flavor-wise, the main note is saltiness; they don’t have a lot of additional seasoning and aren’t spicy.

Overall, I think they’re tasty and surprisingly addictive. They would pair well with a beer, make a great addition to a charcuterie board, or work well as a convenient high-protein snack. Due to their small size, I can’t think of many uses for them beyond snacking or adding them to a simple meal.

Cost

The 600-gram bag costs $16.99 Canadian at Costco, which is comparable to other similar protein snacks sold at Costco, such as Grimm’s Lean Turkey Pepperoni and Golden Island Korean Barbecue Pork Jerky.

Convenience

The bag has a resealable closure to help keep the salami sticks fresh after opening. The best-before date was about eight months from the date I purchased them, and the package recommends refrigerating the sticks once opened.

These salami snack sticks are great on their own as a high-protein snack, paired with crackers and cheese, or added to a charcuterie board. My four-year-old also enjoys them, which speaks to their mild flavor since she doesn’t like spicy foods.
