I’ve reviewed a few popular energy drinks from Costco, including Alani Nu and Celsius, so when I saw that Costco had their own Kirkland Signature Sparkling Energy Drinks, I wanted to give them a try while we were in Maui. The variety pack includes tropical, orange, and peach flavors, and I tried all three to share my thoughts and let you know which one was my favorite!

Taste
The Kirkland Signature Sparkling Energy Drink Variety Pack comes with three flavors: peach, orange, and tropical. I tried all three Kirkland Signature Energy Drink flavors to compare the taste, sweetness, and overall flavor profile.
The peach flavor was my favorite of the three. It’s quite sweet and has a noticeable artificial flavor, but it reminded me of fuzzy peach candy, which I actually enjoyed.
The orange flavor is also very sweet, but the sweetness stands out more than the orange flavor itself. The orange taste is fairly mild and has a slightly artificial flavor.
The tropical flavor tastes mostly like artificial pineapple. Overall, all three Kirkland Signature Sparkling Energy Drink flavors are sweet and have a somewhat artificial taste.
Surprisingly, I didn’t notice the sucralose or artificial sweetener aftertaste, which I can usually detect right away in drinks like this. While they are sweeter than I personally prefer, I still found all three flavors enjoyable and think they’re a good option for people who like sweet, fruity energy drinks.
Cost
The box of 24 energy drinks costs $16.99 USD, which works out to less than $1.00 per can. That’s an excellent price compared to most name-brand energy drinks. Each box contains eight cans of each flavor—peach, orange, and tropical and each can is 12 ounces.
Convenience
I recommend serving these energy drinks chilled or over ice since they’re quite sweet. They remind me a lot of Celsius energy drinks, so if you’re a fan of those, you’ll probably enjoy these as well. Personally, though, I prefer to stick with coffee.

The Kirkland Signature Energy Drinks contain caffeine, taurine, and green tea extract, so they’re not suitable for everyone, and some people should avoid energy drinks altogether. They’re sweetened with sucralose and don’t contain any real fruit juice or fruit juice concentrate.
