Tasty organic juice boxes from Costco – great for school lunches or snacks for kids!
Kids are officially back to school here today so I’m reviewing one last Costco healthy, pantry snack for kids from Costco! The Kirkland Signature Organic Juice Boxes.
Some of the other best snacks for kids from Costco that I’ve reviewed lately are the Costco Welch’s Fruit Snacks, Costco Kirkland Signature Soft & Chewy Granola Bars and the Costco Kirkland Signature Apple Snacks. I personally love the MadeGood cookies and granola minis from Costco and think they’re awesome for kids because they taste great but have hidden veggies!
Location in Store
You can find the juice boxes near the front of the store and on the side, they’re right by all the other juices and the Gogo Squeez. The item number is 1417235.
I don’t drink a lot of juice as an adult but I gotta say these organic juices from Costco are delicious! I’m keeping them to use as mix for cocktails they’re that good. You get four different flavors, 5 citrus blend, fruit punch, mango-orange and apple juice.
These juice boxes are of great quality and are natural and fresh tasting.
My favorite is definitely the fruit punch, it has a nice sweet smell, tastes like classic fruit punch I enjoyed as a kid with cookies and is super enjoyable. The mango-orange tastes more like mango than orange which is a positive because I think mango juice is delicious. It has just a slight hint of orange.
Apple is a bit boring, it’s less sweet than other apple juice I’ve had, still fine though. 5 citrus has a strong orange and citrus flavor and is made of apple, grape, orange, lemon, lime and grapefruit juice.
I paid $12.99 Canadian for the box of 40 organic Costco juice boxes which is really reasonable!
The best before date on the juice boxes is about ten months from the date I purchased them. These are perfect for a kid’s snack at recess, to have at lunch or after school during extracurricular activities! Each box comes with a straw that’s easy to pierce the hole on the top of the juice box with.
One juice box has 80 calories, zero grams of fat, 18 to 20 grams of sugar, 20 to 21 grams of carbohydrates, 15 to 20 mg of sodium and zero grams of protein and fibre. The amount of carbohydrates and sugar depends on the flavor of the juice box.
The juice boxes have only a few ingredients with organic juice from concentrate being the main ingredient. There’s no added sugar and the juice boxes are an excellent source of Vitamin C.
Taste: Apple 6.5/10 Mango-Orange 8/10 Fruit Punch 7.5/10 5 Citrus Blend 7/10
Give it a try!
I think kids would enjoy these organic juice boxes from Costco for their lunchbox or recess snack!
Have you tried these? What did you think?

One of the ingredients of Kirkland organic juice boxes is natural flavour. Does that natural flavour extracted from fruit using chemicals? Please specify that natural flavour because I don’t want to give my grandchildren drinks with chemicals. Is your natural flavour means that the juice has natural fruit flavour of the fruit without using chemicals to process it? Usually natural flavours means it’s extracted from a plant or meat using chemicals to process it.
I wouldn’t give this juice anyways to my kids it has so much sugar I’d opt for some fresh juice which is way better it’s just anitehr way of getting sugar into kids bodies and the excuse is “natural sugar”
