Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are a favorite in our house, so when I spotted the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Exclusive Variety Pack at Costco, I grabbed a bag right away to try it out. I was expecting all three flavors to be awesome, but honestly, one of them let me down. Keep reading to find out which one!
Location in Store
This bag of peanut butter cups is located in the snack section at Costco, near the Tate’s Bake Shop Cookie Bark and the Kirkland Signature Peanut Butter Pretzels. The item number is 1886370.
Taste
Both my husband and I tried all three flavors that comes in the bag. There’s the original milk chocolate peanut butter cups, caramel peanut butter cups and strawberry peanut butter cups.
The strawberry is what we tried first and I can’t say I love it. There’s a thin layer of strawberry jelly in the bottom of the cup that’s quite sweet. It’s also very artificial tasting, it’s not like a real strawberry puree.
The caramel has a flavor that’s only slightly different than the original peanut butter cup. There isn’t much caramel but the caramel that’s there makes the peanut butter cup a bit sweeter. The texture of the peanut butter cup is a bit more moist and chewier and you can taste a hint of sweet caramel.
The milk chocolate peanut butter is the same original Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup we’re all used to. It has a chocolaty outer shell and a smooth, peanut butter middle. It’s my favorite out of the three.
Cost
The 680 gram bag costs $14.99 Canadian. One thing I like about this variety pack is that the peanut butter cups are full-size instead of the smaller ones you get in Halloween boxes.
Convenience
Each peanut butter cup comes individually wrapped so you can easily share these or pop them in your purse, lunch bag or backpack for a on-the-go sweet treat. They’re also easy to share! The expiry date is about seven months from when I purchased them.

Overall
Walk on by!
Honestly, I’d rather just buy a bag of regular Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. The two additional flavors aren’t amazing enough for me to want to buy this again.
