Bakery & grain-based items

Costco’s bakery section is huge. Whether you’re looking for a sweet treat or a hearty bread, you’ll have plenty of options to choose from. Some of my favorite Costco items of all time come from the bakery section.

A few of the best items that come to mind are the Kirkland Signature Biscoff Cream Cake, the Kirkland Signature Tuxedo Chocolate Mousse Cake and the Kirkland Signature Peanut Butter Chocolate Cream Pie.

Costco Kirkland Signature English Toffee Cheesecake Review

Inflation is hitting Costco’s cheesecakes hard! This Kirkland Signature English Toffee Cheesecake costs $5 more than the Raspberry Cheesecake I reviewed just a few months ago, and they’re the same size! Is it tasty enough to justify the price? How does it compare to some of Costco’s other cheesecakes? Read … Read more

Costco Kirkland Signature Oatmeal Cranberry White Chocolate Cookies Review

I’ve said before that I think Costco makes the best grocery store cookies. They may not be as good as homemade cookies or cookies from a high-end bakery, but they’re generally super tasty and the price is great for the quality and quantity. In the past year or so, my … Read more

Costco Au Pain Dore Croissants Review

I never thought I’d see the day when I’d be baking fresh croissants at home! While I may never make them from scratch, these Au Pain Dore Croissants from Costco are the next best thing. They’re frozen and ready to bake, so all you have to do is pop them … Read more

Costco Kirkland Signature S’more Cookies Review

If you’re judging desserts by the ratio of deliciousness to the number of ingredients, s’mores have to rank pretty high. The combination of graham cracker, chocolate and marshmallow is definitely greater than the sum of its parts, but I think that using a perfectly golden brown, gooey campfire-roasted marshmallow has … Read more

Costco Kirkland Signature Gooey Cinnamon Roll Review

Cinnamon buns are one of my favorite things. There are quite a few variations of this simple treat, even just at Costco – cinnamon danishes, cinnamon buns with cream cheese icing and mini cinnamon buns to name a few. This Kirkland Signature Gooey Cinnamon Roll is similar to other cinnamon … Read more

Costco Franz Keto Bread Review

One consistent trend I’ve noticed since I started this site is that there are always readers looking for good keto products. Some products are easier to make keto-friendly than others though! Bread is pretty much the definition of a carb-heavy food, so creating a keto version that tastes good isn’t … Read more

Costco Kirkland Signature Chocolate Chip Cookies Review

Costco is famous for not offering shoppers a ton of different options for a given product – for the most part, there are one or two options for each item. Chocolate chip cookies are an exception to that rule – there are the Chocolate Chunk Cookies in the Kirkland Signature … Read more

Costco Kirkland Signature Confetti Cookies Review

I’ve said it before a few times, but I absolutely love cookies, and Costco’s bakery makes some great ones! I also really enjoy desserts based on confetti cake (also known as funfetti cake, sprinkle cake or birthday cake). The flavors are simple, but super addictive when done well. Thus, I … Read more

Costco Kirkland Signature Mini Raspberry Cakes Review

When I saw these Kirkland Signature Mini Raspberry Cakes with Buttercream Icing, my first thought was that the Costco bakery had taken their muffin tins and repurposed them. I chuckled a little bit thinking that Costco’s famous giant muffins are equivalent to the size of a small cake (notice Costco … Read more

Costco Kirkland Signature Sour Cream Butter Pound Cake Review

The name “pound cake” originates from a recipe that called for a pound of each of its four main ingredients: butter, sugar, eggs, and flour. Costco is offering its own rendition of this timeless treat in the form of the Kirkland Signature Sour Cream Butter Pound Cake, incorporating sour cream … Read more

Hi, I’m Natalie! Costcuisine is a website for Costco-loving foodies like me. Costcuisine isn’t associated with Costco in any way though.
