Dubai chocolate has been all the rage lately, known for its creamy milk chocolate, luscious pistachio cream filling, and crispy pastry bits. I hadn’t tried it before, but I’d certainly heard about it, so when I spotted this Chocovia Dubai Style Chocolate at Costco, I immediately picked up a bag. Unfortunately, I doubt I’ll be able to get my hands on another. Find out why below!
Location in Store
I found the Dubai style chocolates in the snack section at Costco, near the Unreal Dark Chocolate Coconut Minis and the Lindt Lindor Assorted Chocolates. The item number is 1906855.
Taste
These are absolutely delicious, unique chocolates, and I’m so glad I bought a bag when I saw them. The milk chocolate is sweet, smooth, and very creamy—it tastes like high-quality chocolate.
The texture of the filling beneath the milk chocolate is both smooth and crispy. The filling doesn’t look as attractive as some other Dubai chocolates I’ve seen, but that’s okay.
The kadaif crumbles add a nice crispy texture to the pistachio cream, and I think the little bits of filo pastry are so tasty. The pistachio cream inside the chocolate is somewhat similar to Nutella, but with a distinct pistachio flavor and quite sweet! If you’ve had the Pisti Pistachio Cream before, it’s like that.
Cost
The 450-gram bag costs $18.99 Canadian, and I counted 30 chocolates in the bag. Before trying them, I thought this seemed really expensive, but after tasting them, I feel like the cost is totally worth it.
Convenience
Each chocolate is individually wrapped, and the best-before date is a year and four months from when I purchased them. They’re the perfect dessert or sweet snack and would also make a really nice gift.
Since they’re individually wrapped, you could easily bring a bag to work and share with your coworkers. These Dubai chocolates from Costco are actually a product of Turkey, FYI!
Nutrition
Calories
Three chocolates contain 250 calories, 15 grams of fat, 24 grams of carbohydrates, two grams of fibre, 22 grams of sugar, three grams of protein, and 30 milligrams of sodium. These aren’t small chocolates, and they’re quite rich, so I’m not surprised that three of them add up to 250 calories.
Ingredients
The ingredients list isn’t very long, and there are only a few really unhealthy ingredients, like artificial vanilla flavor and palm oil. I love that they use whole milk and butter in the ingredients. These Chocovia Dubai Style Chocolates from Costco contain milk, pistachios, and wheat. They may also contain soy, other tree nuts, and peanuts.

Must buy!
These chocolates are absolutely delicious. If I can get my hands on another bag, I’ll definitely be picking one up but I bet Costco will sell out before I can!
