Costco Nando’s Peri-Peri Sauce Review

Costco carries this popular flavorful and spicy sauce that goes great with chicken!

Today I’m reviewing the Costco Nando’s Peri-Peri Sauce. I’ve seen this sauce at Costco for quite a long time but haven’t tried it until now.

Other sauces I’ve reviewed from Costco that I enjoy are the Johnny’s Black Garlic Vinaigrette, Costco Kewpie Deep Roasted Sesame Dressing & Marinade, Costco Rao’s Marinara Sauce and the Costco Culinary Treasures Chipotle Aioli.

Location in Store

You can find the peri-peri sauce in the aisle with all the other sauces and oils at Costco. The item number is 1064262.

Great for dipping or can be used as a marinade!

Taste

This sauce is hot despite it claiming to be a medium hot sauce! The peri-peri sauce is packed full of flavor and you can taste onion, garlic, paprika and lemon. It’s got a strong spicy, salty flavor with a hint of sour coming through from the lemon.

I like how complex the flavor is but it’s far too spicy for me. If you like hot sauce and can handle heat and spice, I think you’ll like this. If you’re like me and have a low tolerance for anything spicy, you’ll probably find this too hot.

Cost

I paid $10.99 Canadian for the one liter bottle of Nando’s Peri-Peri Sauce.

The bottle says this is a medium hot sauce but I find it really hot!

Convenience

You can use peri-peri sauce on chicken, rice, drizzled on avocado toast or in eggs, on roasted vegetables or even in a sandwich. The best before date listed on the sauce is about 13 months from the date I purchased it, however once opened it needs to be used within three months.
