Costco Nestle KitKat Ice Cream Bars Review

KitKat ice creams bars from Costco are dangerously delicious!

Sean and I both love ice cream and keep a stockpile of it in our house. We eat it pretty much every weekend. Some other Costco ice cream products I’ve reviewed are the Costco Kirkland Signature Vanilla Almond Ice Cream Bars and Costco Heavenfull Stroopwafel Ice Cream Sandwiches.

Today I’m reviewing the Costco Nestle KitKat Ice Cream Bars. These can be found in the freezerl section by the other ice cream products. The item number is 1382611.

Taste

KitKat is probably my favorite chocolate bar so it’s not surprise I really enjoyed these KitKat ice cream bars from Costco. The coating of the ice cream bar is milk chocolate with bits of actual KitKat wafer sprinkled on the chocolate coating. The ice cream inside is two flavors, one side is chocolate flavored and the other is “wafer” flavored.

The wafer flavored ice cream basically tastes like caramel ice cream to me but it’s still really good, it’s creamy, sweet and delicious. The chocolate is a light milk chocolate flavored ice cream and isn’t at all too heavy or overpowering.

The chocolate coating on the outside is quite thin and the little crunchy bits of KitKat chocolate bar add a little bit of pleasing crunchy texture!

Cost

I paid $15.99 Canadian (regular price) for the 20 KitKat ice creams bars.

I definitely think this is a reasonable price! These aren’t cheap at convenience stores and a four pack is sometimes as much as $5 or more at the local grocery store.

Convenience

These are such a convenient dessert! They’re individually packaged so it’s simple to grab one out of the box in your freezer to enjoy. Kids and adults would both enjoy these, especially during the summer months!

Nutrition

You can’t expect for these to be healthy! They’re not the absolute worst for you though. One bar is 190 calories, 11 grams of fat, 21 grams of carbohydrates, one gram of sugar, 16 grams of sugar, two grams of protein and 50 mg of sodium.

The ingredients list is full of lots of unhealthy ingredients so I try to limit my enjoyment of these to once a week!

These TASTY, even if you’re not a KitKat fan but love a good ice cream bar I’d definitely recommend trying these out. The ice cream inside is creamy, sweet and delicious and the chocolate coating and bits of KitKat on top are great.

Scoring

Taste: 8.5/10

Overall

Must buy!

  1. Greetings,
I have purchased KitKat ice cream bars numerous times and enjoyed them however the last box we purchased from Costco are quite bad. They have almost like clotted milk/cream in them that doesn’t dissolve as well as a freezer burnt taste. Very disappointed!
