Both my husband and I love popcorn and we’re big fans of the classic chocolate and peanut butter combination, so when I spotted Reese’s Popcorn at Costco, I had to pick up a bag. I’d never seen this product before and couldn’t wait to indulge in chocolaty, peanut buttery goodness. Keep reading to find out if it was as good as I hoped it would be!

Location in Store
This popcorn is located on the side of the store at my Costco, near all the other chips like the Kirkland Signature Corn Chip Dippers and the Kirkland Signature Kettle Brand Krinkle Cut Potato Chips. The item number is 2745439.
Taste
This popcorn is very tasty and really hard to stop eating once you start! The texture is nice and crunchy, and it tastes quite fresh.

The popcorn tastes salty, sweet, and chocolaty! Some pieces have more chocolate drizzle than others, so the ones with the most drizzle taste more chocolaty.
What surprised me while eating this popcorn was that I didn’t notice much peanut butter flavor, just a hint. I mostly notice the peanut butter flavor after eating the popcorn; it kind of lingers in your mouth.

Cost
The 481-gram bag of popcorn costs $11.99 Canadian, which I think is pretty expensive! I bet you’re paying more for the brand name.

Convenience
This popcorn has an expiry date that’s about four months from the date I purchased it. Unfortunately, the bag doesn’t reseal, which is kind of a bummer, but I just use an elastic band or a plastic clip to keep it fresh. This is the perfect snack to have while watching a movie at home, on a road trip, or while camping!

Nutrition
Calories
One and three-quarter cups of popcorn contain 240 calories, 11 grams of fat, 32 grams of carbohydrates, four grams of fibre, 19 grams of sugar, three grams of protein, and 125 milligrams of sodium. I’m not surprised that this is high in calories, fat, carbohydrates, and sugar. If you’re watching your weight or counting calories, make sure to pay attention to how much you’re eating, it’s addictive!

Ingredients
The ingredients in this popcorn are terrible. Ingredients like corn syrup; soybean, sunflower, and palm oil; and artificial flavor make me cringe. If you’re going to enjoy this popcorn, I suggest not looking at the ingredient list. Reese’s Popcorn contains peanuts, milk, and soy, and may also contain wheat.

Overall
Give it a try!
If you like salty, sweet popcorn, I think you’ll really enjoy this Reese’s Popcorn! It doesn’t have a strong peanut butter flavor, but it is quite chocolatey!
