Costco Rawcology Granola Review

I buy and try a lot of different products from Costco, but only a handful become staples in our house. Products like Russet House Sweet Potato Fries, Tattooed Chef Sheet Pan Vegetables, and RXBAR Protein Bars are items we purchase again and again. Another product that has recently earned a permanent spot in our pantry is this Rawcology Granola. It’s made with clean, simple ingredients and has quickly become one of my favorite snacks. Find out what I like so much about it by reading the review below!

Location in Store

This is located in the cereal aisle at Costco near the Innofoods Keto Granola and the Nature’s Path Ancient Grains Granola. The item number is 1944137.

Taste

This isn’t your typical granola, it doesn’t contain oats or grains. Instead, the main ingredients are coconut flakes and sprouted sunflower seeds, which make it quite crunchy. There are some small pieces as well as larger clusters, which I like because when I snack on it on its own, I can eat the larger clusters and save the smaller bits for yogurt.

The flavor of the granola is blueberry, but you don’t really notice a strong blueberry taste. I think that’s because it uses unsweetened blueberry powder and no artificial flavoring. Although it only contains 1 gram of sugar per 1/3-cup serving, it’s still quite sweet, which is a good thing since it satisfies my sweet tooth. Overall, this is a very clean, crunchy, and satisfying sweet snack.

Cost

The 600 gram bag costs $14.49 Canadian which is really reasonable. My closest grocery store sells smaller 200 gram bags in different flavors and a smaller bag costs $11.99 Canadian so try to buy this at Costco if youThe 600-gram bag costs $14.49 Canadian, which is very reasonable. My closest grocery store sells smaller 200-gram bags in different flavors, and those cost $11.99 Canadian. If possible, it’s definitely worth buying this at Costco.

Convenience

The bag is resealable, and the best-before date is about ten months from the date of purchase. The granola should be stored in a cool, dry place. I love eating it by the handful as a snack, but it can also be enjoyed with milk or added to a yogurt bowl.
