Summer is over but I want to squeeze one last summery review in! Today I’m reviewing the Costco Kirkland Signature Organic Lemonade. I picked this up at Costco on a hot summer day and drank it but forgot to review it!

Othere Kirkland Signature beverages there are reviews for are the Costco Kirkland signature Organic Juice Boxes, the Costco Kirkland Signature Organic Vanilla Almond Milk, the Costco Kirkland Signature Margarita Mix and the Costco Kirkland Signature Strawberry Margarita (has alcohol).

This Costco Kirkland Signature Organic Lemonade is located near the other juices and beverages on the side of the store, it’s not refrigerated. The item number is 736083.

Taste

The Costco Kirkland Signature Lemonade has a good balance of sweet and tart! It’s not too sweet like some lemonade is and has a delicious, moderate amount of zesty tartness coming from the lemon concentrate.

It’s really refreshing and would be perfect on a hot summer day or in a cocktail! I could see this Costco lemonade making a pretty delicious lemon drop.

There’s no pulp in the lemonade so if you have your heart set on a pulpy lemonade this isn’t the one for you.

Cost

You get a two-pack of lemonade for $6.99 Canadian, each lemonade is 2.84 liters. That’s really cheap for organic lemonade!

I’ve seen only a 1-liter container of organic lemonade go for $6.99 in the grocery store.

Convenience

The lemonade needs to be kept in the refrigerator once opened. The bottle recommends shaking it well before serving and serving it chilled.

The best before date on the lemonade is six months from the date we purchased the lemonade.

One way I like to use lemonade is to make ice cubes by filling an ice tray with lemonade, sticking it in the freezer and then adding a few ice cubes to my water, it flavors my water but isn’t too sweet or lemony!

Ingredients

Unfortunately, organic cane sugar comes before lemon concentrate on the ingredients list and there’s quite a bit of sugar in one cup! I wasn’t expecting so much sugar because it does taste quite tart. The lemonade is pasteurized and is certified organic.

  1. I was surprised how reasonable and how good this was – heavy suckers to carry! I agree with all you said. What a nice find and this is great with unsweetened homemade ice tea to make “Arnold Palmers”.
