I’ve tried quite a few Delici desserts from Costco, including the Delici Belgian Chocolate Mousse, Delici S’mores Souffle, and Delici Dubai Style Chocolate Dessert, and they’ve all been pretty tasty. So when I spotted the new Delici Cookie Butter Mousse desserts during my latest Costco trip, I knew I had to give them a try. As a big fan of Lotus Biscoff Cookies, the cookie butter flavor immediately caught my attention! Taste
The Costco Delici Cookie Butter Mousse has a strong, classic Biscoff flavor that I really enjoyed. It’s quite moist, with a nice bit of texture from the cookie crumble layers. The dessert is made up of layers of rich cookie butter paste, cookie butter crumble, cookie butter mousse, and more cookie butter crumble.
The bottom layer of cookie butter is especially rich and flavorful, with that unmistakable Lotus Biscoff taste, while the cookie crumb layers add even more Biscoff flavor and texture. The cookie butter mousse itself is milder and doesn’t have quite as much flavor as the other layers, but it helps balance out the richness. Overall, this Costco Delici Cookie Butter Mousse is a really tasty and enjoyable dessert for anyone who loves the classic flavor of Biscoff cookies and cookie butter.
Cost
There are six 76-gram containers of mousse in each box of Costco Delici Cookie Butter Mousse. Although the cups may look small, this is a very rich and indulgent dessert, so I found that one container was plenty for one serving.
At about $2.33 per mousse, these aren’t exactly a budget-friendly Costco dessert. However, part of the price is likely due to the fancy glass packaging, which makes the Delici Cookie Butter Mousse cups feel a little more special than your average packaged dessert.
Convenience
The Delici Cookie Butter Mousse needs to be kept refrigerated, and the best-before date was about one month from the date I purchased them. I wouldn’t recommend freezing these Costco cookie butter mousse cups, as freezing may change the silky, creamy texture of the mousse.
With their individual glass cups and rich Biscoff flavor, these would make a great dessert after a fancier meal at home. They’d also be a fun option to serve when you’re hosting guests or having a dinner party!
