Pre-made meals

Costco offers a wide variety of pre-made meals. There are a few staples that show up frequently regardless of the location of the store or time of year, but they’re always rolling out new ones to try. These meals are generally pretty convenient, but they’re not always cheap, so you don’t want to waste money on a disappointing one!

The Kirkland Signature Meat Lasagna is an all-time great Costco item. We also really enjoyed this Enchilada Bake. Sometimes you can even find sandwiches and wraps – great if you’re looking for an easy picnic lunch.

Costco Pulmuone Beef Japchae Review

This Pulmuone Beef Japchae is the third noodle-based dish that I’ve reviewed from the company. They all share very similar packaging, though this one can’t be cooked in the microwave like the Teriyaki Stir-Fry Udon and Pad Thai. In terms of taste, the Pad Thai was terrible while the Teriyaki … Read more

Costco Kirkland Signature Beef Bulgogi Review

You have to give Costco credit for how adventurous and geographically diverse it is with its pre-made meal creations in the deli section. While the dishes might not always be the most authentic, they clearly try to draw inspiration from different parts of the world in creating them. This Kirkland … Read more

Costco Kirkland Signature Mac and Cheese Review

A lot of Costco’s pre-made meals tend to be comfort foods. This Kirkland Signature Mac and Cheese definitely falls into that category. Some people might argue that macaroni and cheese isn’t a meal, so I suppose this might be more of a side than a true meal. At the end … Read more

Costco Kirkland Signature Enchilada Bake Review

My husband and I love Mexican food. We have a great local Mexican restaurant that we order from regularly. We don’t make many Mexican-themed foods at home, but one of our dinner staples is a quinoa enchilada casserole that I make regularly. It’s very tasty, but it’s a bit time-intensive … Read more

Costco Kirkland Signature Kale & Ancient Grains Salad Review

If you enjoy the Kirkland Signature Quinoa Salad from Costco but find it a bit lacking in flavor, this Kirkland Signature Kale & Ancient Grains Salad might be for you! It has a grain base that’s similar to quinoa, but includes a much wider variety of tastes and textures in … Read more

Costco Veggies Made Great Spinach Egg White Frittatas Review

I love frittata, but it takes a lot of time and energy to make one unless you’re a chopping machine. I also find they’re better for larger groups unless you don’t mind having leftovers. The Costco Veggies Made Great Spinach Egg White Frittatas are a quick, convenient and reasonably healthy … Read more

Costco Kirkland Signature Chicken Salad Review

I’ve always thought that chicken salad is an odd dish. It’s basically a mixture of mayonnaise and chicken; I don’t see how that counts as a salad! It’s not the most visually appealing dish, but it can be very tasty when made well. There are also lots of ways chicken … Read more

Costco Kirkland Signature Asian Style Wraps Review

These Kirkland Signature Asian Style Wraps are the newest addition to my local Costco’s pre-made meal section. I like wraps and most Asian-style dishes, so I had high hopes for them. They’re definitely convenient – they’re ready to serve right out of the package. Unfortunately, they ended up being fairly … Read more
