Costco Schwartz Brothers Bakery Organic Everything Bagel Chips Review

Everything bagel seasoning has been increasingly popular over the last few years. The Costco Schwartz Brothers Organic Everything Bagel Chips look versatile and like something I’d enjoy with a variety of dips. How do the flavor of these chips compare to an actual everything bagel?

During a recent trip to Costco I spotted these everything bagel chips. I was hesitant to pick them up because they looked a bit dry and hard but I eventually decided to try them for the blog!

Other chips or crackers from Costco I’ve reviewed are the Costco innofoods Keto Crackers, Costco Simple Mills Almond Flour Crackers, Costco Mary’s Organic Crackers, Costco Miss Vicke’s Spicy Dill Pickle Chips, Costco Terra Sweet Medley Chips, Costco SoKusa Shrimp Chips and the Costco Kirkland Signature Kettle Brand Krinkle Cut Himalayan Salt Potato Chips.

Location in Store

The everything bagel chips can be found in the bakery section at Costco. The item number is 1391546.

Taste

The chips are very crunchy, but not to the point of being unpleasantly hard. The flavor is great; I really enjoy the mix of salt, garlic and other seasonings. You can definitely tell that these chips have everything bage; seasoning. The use of oil in the chips is yummy, It adds flavor without making the chips overly greasy and I think makes them less hard.

Ready to enjoy!

I tasted the chips as a snack without any dip or anything and found them really enjoyable and addictive. I’m sure they’d be even better with dip like the Costco Good Foods Caramelized Onion & Gruyere Cheese Dip, and they’d be great in the right salad too. I like them a lot more than I expected to!

Cost

The cost of the 425 gram container of bagel chips is $9.99 Canadian.

They’re nice and crispy but not rock hard.

Convenience

The plastic container is resealable which is nice for keeping the bagel chips fresh. The best before date is three months from date I purchased the container, so you have lots of time to finish these!

These pair so well with Manchego cheese!

I think a few things from Costco would taste great with these, like the Fontaine Santé Caramelized Onion Hummus, the Kirkland Signature Manchego Cheese, the Costco Rojo’s Black Bean Six Layer Dip and the Costco Fontaine Santé Spinach Dip.

Overall

Give it a try!

I think these are best with a dip, with cheese or on a charcuterie board but still taste great on their own. If you’re into everything bagel seasoning I recommend trying these bagel chips!

Have you tried these? What did you think of them?

  2. Can’t eat them. Didn’t realize they had garlic in it and I’m allergic to. Gave me a burning stomach. I wish I could return them.

  3. My Costco in Langley stopped carrying them early Nov 2022. They said it was to make room for Christmas bakery items, as it turned out Costco discontinued them. I phoned Costco head office & expressed my disappointment with them discontinuing them. The person I talked to @ head office Costco said they were working with Schwartz in Renton Washington to bring them back, so I phoned Schwartz & talked to them as well, they said they were trying to work with Costco Canada to bring them back but to date no success. I have even put in several written suggestions at my Langley Costco with no luck. I suggest people put in written requests at your local Costco’s or even phone Costco head office.

  6. Discontinued at our Costco also. This always happens to food/drinks I fall in love with. Like simply tropical flavored juice. Gone. AZ Ice Tea half mango half tea…gone. Totally sucks!

  7. We love these and have repeatedly purchased them every two weeks, but when I tried to buy more 07/20/22 the service desk told me they were being deleted or no longer carried. This happened with another item we liked but apparently did not sell like corporate wanted. Please ask Corporate to continue stocking this item
