Seasonal foods

Costco carries a wide variety of seasonal and holiday-themed items throughout the year. It’s a great place to shop if you’re planning a special family meal or just looking for fun treats.

For Easter, Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner, the Kirkland Signature Spiral Sliced Ham is an awesome choice. I didn’t even like ham very much before we started buying this one, but now I actually look forward to having it. If you have your heart set on turkey, Costco sells good ones. If you’re having a small gathering, you can always opt for a turkey breast.

No holiday dinner is complete without pumpkin pie, and the Kirkland Signature version is tasty and cheap. If you’re looking for cookies, the Kirkland Signature Ginger Cookies and the Kirkland Signature Raspberry Crumble Cookies are perfect for the Christmas season.

Costco Deavas Hot Chocolate Bombs Review

For some reason, hot chocolate that comes in bomb form like these Deavas Hot Chocolate Bombs seems fancier than a normal hot chocolate mix. Having three different flavors and mini marshmallows inside each bomb are also neat advantages over a basic mix. Do these hot chocolate bombs make hot chocolate … Read more

Costco Lindt Pralines Classiques Review

I love the classic Lindt Lindor chocolates – I wrote in my review of them that I think they’re the best mass-produced chocolates you can buy! Costco also has these Lindt Pralines Classiques chocolates this holiday season. If you find Lindor chocolates too smooth, you’ll appreciate the added texture in … Read more

Costco Truffettes De France Chocolate Truffles Review

The Truffettes de France Truffles are a simple treat that’s returned to Costco’s holiday section for a few years now. The package has changed a bit, but the melt-in-your-mouth chocolates haven’t. They’re great for putting out in a bowl for guests, but you might want to have some napkins handy … Read more

Costco Bouchard Mint Chocolate Thins Review

If I were going to try to invent a chocolate-based treat to sell, I think I’d stay away from anything with mint in it. It’s a crowded market! These Bouchard Mint Chocolate Thins are another entry into this competitive category. They do appear to be a bit higher-end than some … Read more

Costco Turin Baileys Chocolates Review

If you were making a list of holiday-themed alcoholic beverages, Baileys and hot chocolate or coffee has to be on there right after classic egg nog. These Turin Baileys Original Irish Cream Chocolates pack the flavor of the liqueur into a chocolate. That seems like an obviously good idea, but … Read more

Costco Anthon Berg Liquor-Filled Chocolates Review

Of all the chocolates Costco carries around the holidays, these Anthon Berg Liquor-Filled Dark Chocolates are probably the most unique/memorable. I’m not a big fan of the combination of liquor and sweets, but I think the package of tiny bottle-shaped chocolates is really neat and well done. I don’t score … Read more

Costco Utah Truffles Review

Costco sells a couple of different kinds of these Utah Chocolate Truffles. I’ve tried the Mint Milk Chocolate ones and the Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt ones so far. They’re fairly simple chocolates with a plain chocolate shell and a melty chocolate center that has the additional flavor mixed in. … Read more

Hi, I’m Natalie! Costcuisine is a website for Costco-loving foodies like me. Costcuisine isn’t associated with Costco in any way though.
